2014 Chevrolet Spark EV
The 2014 Chevy Spark EV is an electric powered version of the gas powered 2013 Chevy Spark. Chevy's smallest car with battery powered model to rival the likes of Nissan Leaf. "A bold new initiative for General Motors". The 2014 Chevy Spark is a 4-door hatchback minicar that starts U.S. sale as a 2013 model. The Spark EV will be available worldwide starting in 2013, U.S. availability will be limited to 2,000 units in the first year. The Spark EV may also be available in the 13 states that follow California emissions standards.
the Spark EV will be the second electrified Chevrolet, joining the Volt range-extender plug-in hybrid compact car that runs on electricity until battery power runs low, at which point a gasoline engine kicks in to extend driving range. they promise EV versions will smaller than the Fiat 500 and Scion iQ hatchbacks and the Nissan Leaf compact.
