The new Moller M200G Hover Car is in Production and selling for $125,000. Depending on engine costs, the M200G will cost between $90,000-$125,000. The consumer-ready derivative of the M200X volantor and open to the market. It can hover 10 feet off the ground and cruises at a speed of 50 mph. Because the M200G is classified as a recreation device and not an aircraft, it is not subject to FAA regulations and anybody can operate one. The official release date has not been announced. But we can expect to see it in 2015.

Tanner Foust vs. Carl Edwards

You spring open the MP4’s dramatic insect-wing door by sweeping a hand along a flush surface tucked under the side scoop’s upper edge. Leading with your right leg followed by a dab of  body English, it’s an easy glide into the nicely bolstered seat. There’s a huge 9000-rpm tach and a steering wheel unburdened by switchgear, with a center-pivoting shift paddle. The leather and faux suede are sewn to ­Savile Row standards.

This is one hell of car due to it almost beat a Nascar racing champion: Carl Edwards in his No. 99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Fusion Sprint Cup Series car. In the McLaren MP4 12C was driven by Tanner Foust. This all happened at the famous Homestead-Miami Speedway.  

The McLaren MP4-12C is giving up the home field advantage, as a purpose-built stock car is a bit of a different beast from a luxurious, high-tech road-going supercar. At about 750 horsepower and  3,400 pounds.

The Cup car's available power-to-weight ratios, and it offers mid-engine balance, high-tech driver aids, and a dual-clutch transmission to maximize its raw materials.

Tanner Foust is a professional racing driver, stunt driver, and television host. He competes in rally, drift, ice racing, time attack and rallycross with multiple podium placements and national championships. He is a co-host on the American version of the motoring television series, Top Gear.

Carl Edwards is a Nascar driver. He currently drives the #99 Ford Fusion in the Sprint Cup Series for Roush Fenway Racing. He won the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series championship and nearly won the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title, but lost by a tiebreaker to Tony Stewart.

The 2014 Ferrari F12 will replace the 599 in the company's lineup. The Ferrari F12berlinetta, which debuted at the Geneva Auto Show. The Ferrari F12 will be lighter, more aerodynamic, more powerful, and more visually arresting. The Ferrari 599 is old Tech, we need something new and bold that is why the Ferrari F12 will be The fastest Ferrari out there with 703-horsepower.

The F12 was revealed at the March 2012 Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland as the F12berlinetta. berlinetta means “little sedan” in Italian. The F12 preview for some 450 invited VIPs, 80 percent of those folks (some 360) had placed firm orders on the spot. The U.S. sales will begin in the first half of ‘13 for the 2014 model year.

The F12 will use the 599 in using a four-wheel independent suspension with all-corner coil springs, double wishbones, and driver-adjustable shock absorbers, state-of-the-art carbon-ceramic disc brakes,  “high-performance” ABS, F1-Trac traction control, ESC stability system, and a third-generation electronic differential dubbed E-Diff 3. The F12 weighs 360 pounds lighter than the base of the 599. 

The F12 will have a 6.3-liter V12 with direct fuel injection and a 65-degree cylinder-bank angle. It's basically a updated version of the all aluminum engine that powered the Ferrari FF 2+2 hatchback. Horsepower climbs by 80 to 730 and peaks at a heady 8,250 rpm. Torque improves by 5 pound-feet to 509, of which 80 percent is available from just 2,500 rpm. The F12 claims to run 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.1 seconds, 0.2-sec faster than a base 599, and will top out at least 6 mph faster at 212. CO2 emissions, a major regulatory issue in Europe, have dropped from 415 grams/km to 350.

The cute, space-efficient bus concept, unveiling a nostalgia-infused concept called Bulli, the nickname Germans gave to the original 1950-67 T1 (Transporter 1) van that America knew as the Microbus.

 The new Bus should arrive in time for model-year 2014, depending on what sales goals are set for it. Piëch remains chairman of Volkswagen Group, which he’s intent on making the world’s largest automaker by 2018, if not before. The T1 is still fondly remembered by many baby boomers and is considered cool by some of their kids and grandkids. It could be somewhat larger than the Geneva concept.

The 2014 Porsche Macan will be smaller than the 2011 Porsche Cayenne. Wolfsburg have just green-lighted what should be the biggest boost to Porsche’s business, a compact SUV that’s been in the works under the tentative title Cajun. A “baby Cayenne” was rumored back in 2008, but Porsche firmly denied it.

The short answer for Porsche’s second SUV, expected to bow in North America during 2013, likely as a 2014 model. Mathias Müeller, Porsche CEO, Bought Volkswagen. Porsche itself announced the Cayenne's little brother will be named Macan. The company says the name is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger. 

 

Styling and major technical features are still being debated on. the 2014 Porsche Macan will be based on the Audi Q5, much as big-brother Cayenne shares engineering DNA with the Volkswagen Touareg and the Audi Q7. A Cayenne-type nose, and a 2-door body style that the Audi doesn't offer. The Macan would be 2-door and 4-door. 2014 Porsche Macan body styles should retain the Audi Q5 110.6-inch wheelbase. The Macan will get its own interior, likely with a driver-oriented dashboard and perhaps seating for 4 only.

The Spark EV will be available worldwide starting in 2013, U.S. availability will be limited to 2,000 units in the first year. The Spark EV may also be available in the 13 states that follow California emissions standards.

 the Spark EV will be the second electrified Chevrolet, joining the Volt range-extender plug-in hybrid compact car that runs on electricity until battery power runs low, at which point a gasoline engine kicks in to extend driving range. they promise EV versions will smaller than the Fiat 500 and Scion iQ hatchbacks and the Nissan Leaf compact.

A new sports car concept for Alfa Romeo’s long-promised U.S. return. The limited-production 4C promises Italian style, high tech, low weight, is coming to your local Chrysler-Fiat dealer. Chrysler is now controlled by Italy’s Fiat, which owns Ferrari as well as Alfa Romeo, The sporty brand that is memorably supplied for Dustin Hoffman's ride in "The Graduate".  The Alfa Romeo 4C was previewed at the March 2011 Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland as the 4C Concept, a compact mid-engine sports coupe. When Alfa CEO, Harald Wester announced that the 4C will not only be produced but sold around the world, U.S. included. The prospect of a slick new high-tech 2-seater with claimed 0-60 mph acceleration of under 5 seconds.

Reports that the 4C will start production in late 2012 and will probably be retailed in the U.S. through the 130 or so Fiat dealerships. The 4C will arrive Stateside as an early 2014 model in mid-2013. Sergio Marchionne, CEO of the new Chrysler-Fiat alliance, intends the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C to be a “halo” car that will help lift the brand’s global sales to 400,000 units by mid-decade. A new Spider roadster, a modern version of “The Graduate” car, has also been put back to 2014. they plan to build only 15,000-20,000 coupes over five years, plus 5,000-10,000 convertible versions for sale under the Abarth badge. The Abarth is Fiat's "tuner" operation compare to the Mercedes' AMG unit.

  The Aston Martin DB9 will be lighter with more-efficient engines and new styling. They promise lower emissions and higher mpg with a new lightweight bod.  James Bond's preferred motorcar purveyor wages war on weight for a major update of its core coupe and convertible. Aston's core DB9 models are nearly seven years old and getting long in the tooth. Other models will soon need to be modernized, as they're all basically variations of the DB9.

Aston Martin has to face the task of meeting the new CO2 emissions standards in Europe and they will try to beat the new fuel economy mandates here in the U.S. So, they will have to make its products cleaner and more fuel-efficient than they are now.The company has shelved proposed clean-sheet redesigns slated for the coming decade. Remodeling the mainstay-selling DB9 4-seat coupe and Volante convertible. They will be selling the car by 2013 in Europe, which could mean a 2014-model U.S. debut.

Porsche will add a plug in hybrid supercar to the lineup. The new sports car based on the 2-passenger 918 Spyder Concept that wowed crowds at the March 2010 Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland with it's futuristic looks. with hybrid drivetrain and they claim it has the best of both worlds performance and fuel economy. Porsche has never shown a concept it hasn't put into production. the 918 Spyder,  is almost certain to be available by model-year 2014, the price of around a half-million bucks.

  Porsche has been all about performance, on road and the track. Porsche was founded over 60 years ago. The 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder should be much like it in size, appearance, technical makeup, and performance. Even if it sells too few vehicles each year to have much impact on global warming or oil use. This explains the announced hybrid versions of the new Panamera Sedan and the redesigned Cayenne SUV. green-up Porsche's image but to help the company comply with tough new caps on higher fuel-economy standards in America. Porsche has a history of building limited-edition vehicles to showcase its engineering process.

The latest info says Pagani already had compliant airbags in the works, so sales in the States will only be delayed by several months and slip into calendar-year 2013. There no official model year for the first American-spec cars yet, but we think they will be 2014s. You’ll find the 2014 Pagani Huayra in the same column as the stupefyingly powerful, frighteningly expensive Bugatti Veyron 16.4.

Argentina-born designer/engineer named Horacio Pagani and his small group of artisans who turned out just 18 cars in 2010. Pagani Auto was formed in 1991, Mr. Pagani expects the 2014 Pagani Huayra to sell well enough that he can eventually double yearly production.
 Pagani will remain a boutique enterprise next to rivals like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Fiat, etc. The Huayra will be a very rare sight, especially as the company opens for business in the U.S. with just two dealers.

 The C7 is finally here. It’s all-new, yet unmistakably C7, with more power, better mpg, major interior upgrades, and fresh, edgy styling. The future of “America’s Sports Car”  enters its 61st year with a much-anticipated redesign. Grand Sport models may also return. Chevy says the Stingray coupe will cost little more than the 2013 edition that started at $49,600.

The C7 is the first Corvette since 1976 to be called Stingray. Corvette sales have been running at about half the pre-2008 level, thanks largely to the Great Recession. The future of General Motors icon would seem to depend very much on how well the C7 can infect the young crowd with good old “Corvette Fever."
